Business Woman Vibes x

It is Monday, and that just means we can't wait for this week to go by again! If you're lucky like me you have a short week because of 'Good Friday'. I don't celebrate Easter but I do appreciate the extra day off this week. So I am thankful for that. Therefore, lets' move on to my outfit. This day I felt like embracing my inner business woman look. I really don't like the whole "Button down x Slacks" business look. Why? Because it's very simple. Anyone can pull that off, literally! I love to put on professional clothes that still have some sense of style to them. Therefore, these black, blue and green checkered ankle pants are great for what I am talking about. Now, I didn't want to get too crazy so I just added my simple HM silk tank top. It is still sophisticated and it also gives me that "I am a business woman" feeling.
Since the weather decided to be COLD today I had to wear boots. However, these boots are literally made for walking! Walking in the streets of Soho, NY was very easy for me. My feet did not hurt and I actually got a lot of compliments. At times while I was outside I felt chilly so I thought it would be best to throw on this Ellie Tahari blazer over my shoulders. Instead of wearing it the typical way, throwing it off the shoulders always looks better. When it came to accessories I didn't want to take it to a crazy level, meaning I wanted to keep it at minimal. So, I decided to wear my Lydell NYC necklace which made my outfit which gave the last perfect touch to my outfit. This shiny silver tone is seriously one of the best collar necklaces to match with any outfit. Overall, I had a great day wearing black and putting my style thoughts into my professional look.

LaSelmastyle x FvnClothing

Hello everyone, I've been dealing with a personal issue so I haven't been on social media as much. However, I am back and ready to get this blogging going! Therefore, I would like to take this time and introduce to you the founder of@FVNCLOTHING, Geo. I've met Geo at the @excelsior event in January 2016. Therefore, after speaking to him we exchanged our business cards and we kept in touch. Then, we decided to collaborate and work on a photoshoot together. Geo's idea is that instead of buying new expensive items all the time he can create something unique that no one else has. Such as adding touches to items that did not have the edge to it when originally bought. His idea is bringing art into these clothing items, not just putting anything on them. His logo is an equilateral triangle with line going through the middle. The line is of equal length of the base of the triangle and it represents the fashion world. The line represents the separation of people who buy fashion because of the latest trend that's in because of the quantity vs the innovators of fashion such as FVNClothing.

Geo does not depend on others to visualize and create these designs, he does it based on his own creative knowledge. Therefore, the items that I am wearing from @fvnclothing are: the bomber jacket, the black jean jacket, the rain coat (which is literally my favorite), and the black and yellow caps. I seriously have to admit that all of the items are super edgy and fit into the whole NYC streetstyle looks but I completely fell in love with this rain coat. I think the reason behind this is because I have never worn a raincoat. I've never had the desire to purchase one but when I saw this one I completely fell in love with it. I love the long and the white patched designs on it.

Keeping It At a Minimalistic Level

Hump Day has passed and I am happy! Thirsty Thursday is tomorrow and we welcome Friday with open arms! Who is loving this look the most? Where are all my minimalist look lovers? So, during NYFW I went to an event that I was invited to called #Bloggerandthebrand. There I met some amazing bloggers. Honestly, it is always a great feeling to have when you meet people that have the same passion and dream as you. You don't have to explain how you think because they're already on the same page as you.

Anyways, besides meeting bloggers, I also got the chance to connect with few individuals who are brand owners. One of them being @Hemsmith. Therefore, the top that I am wearing in this picture is from @Hemsmith and besides it being black which I could have matched it with any color. It also has a very soft touch to it. Since this astonishing top had both the right and left side open I thought that it would be best to wear my HM sporty pants with one white strip on each side. The white strip fit perfectly where the top opens, so it corresponded very well. Since my @Hemsmith top had a crew neckline I decided to stay with my monochrome look and take my black soft silk headband and tie it on my neck, so it could give the whole outfit an edge to it. I did not stop there though, I decided to take out my white/black shoes from Steeve Madden. Sometimes these shoes can feel a little tight on me but when that happens, I just decide to turn them into slippers, which still looks great with my outfits. Thank you #bloggerandthebrand for connecting me with @Hemsmith. xo
